Digital skills for a changing world
Computer lessons focus on digital literacy, responsible online behaviour and essential ICT skills. Students engage with coding, research tasks and safe online practices, ensuring they are confident and capable in an increasingly digital world.
Learning Support (Grade 4–7)
Our Learning Support programme assists students who may experience challenges in specific areas of their academic work, particularly English and Mathematics. Support is offered in the classroom or through individual or small-group sessions, tailored to each student’s needs. Both our Learning Support programme and our Academic Booster Classes are offered at no additional fee, so that every girl who might benefit from extra support can receive it.

Study skills and academic coaching
Learning Support also runs tailored study skills workshops that give every girl a practical toolkit for school and beyond. Together we work on the habits that make learning feel manageable: managing time well, taking clear notes, and reading with purpose. Girls learn to prepare for assessments with confidence, set goals worth working towards, and stay organised through thoughtful planning. We also explore memory techniques, sound research skills, and how to create a study environment in which focus comes naturally. Throughout, we actively encourage self-advocacy, helping each girl understand her own needs and communicate them with confidence.

We provide gentle, personalised assistance to students experiencing temporary learning difficulties, as well as those with more significant, long-term needs.

Sport is an important part of the Senior Primary experience.
Students are encouraged to:

Cultural Extramurals
St Teresa’s offers exciting and diverse cultural experiences for the girls at the school. We view our cultural activities as an integral part of school life. There is a slot for cultural activities for an hour both in the morning and afternoon once a week, allowing the girls to explore their interests. Some activities change each term, with others, such as choir and marimbas, running for the full year. We take part in interschool events and competitions for many of these activities.
