They experienced a year filled with new and unimaginable challenges, but each and every girl overcame the difficulties of 2021 in her own way, and every one of these remarkable young ladies deserves praise for that feat alone. Moreover, the girls who achieved their personal best results, even if these were not distinctions, deserve to be highly commended for their commitment, hard work and the successes they achieved.

As usual, the teachers deserve sincere congratulations too. Their role in teaching and nurturing the girls, from the Foundation Phase to Grade 12, cannot be overlooked. In addition, I extend my special commendations to the teachers for their relentless efforts to support and teach the girls despite the new challenges of online learning and attending school during the pandemic."
